Fuzz plus The Lavender Flu
Fuzz is an American rock band from San Francisco, formed in 2011. The band consists of Charles Moothart (vocals, guitar), Ty Segall (vocals, drums) and Chad Ubovich (vocals, bass)
Created as an outlet for Moothart's affection for hard rock riffs, Fuzz began as collaboration between Moothart and Segall, while Moothart performed in Segall's live band. In 2012, the pair released two singles, "This Time I Got a Reason" and "Sleigh Ride", and were joined by bass guitarist Roland Cosio.
In October 2013, the band released its self-titled debut album, Fuzz. While touring the album, Chad Ubovich (Meatbodies and Mikal Cronin Band) replaced Cosio on bass. In October 2015, Fuzz released their second album, entitled II, written in a more collaborative manner than the band members were used to. In October 2020, their third album, entitled III, was released. -

Lavender Flu is Chris Gunn (Hunches/Hospitals), Scott Simmons (Helen/Eat Skull) and Ben Spencer (Hunches). The Flu is from Portland, Oregon and started as a home recording project and then morphed into a full band. They have been around for about 10 years and released albums on Meds, Holy Mountain, In the Red Records, and Mind Meld Records. They make sounds characterized as pop music dreaming about and then eating itself. The Flu blends elements of psychedelic rock, pop, noise and experimental music with a sense of chamomile and a slight touch of reverse shrike. They record primarily as a home recording project; using analog tape machines, embracing experimentation and a love for songwriting. The Flu has been known to give the song "a chance."
