November was once the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. While we may not rely on animal skins to fend off the autumn chill, we can still appreciate the light of the “frost moon†overhead. Learn more about the role the moon plays in our tides and traditions on this easy, hour-long stroll. We’ll walk up to a mile as we watch the sun set over the Pacific and catch the full moon rise above the harbor.
This is a family-friendly program open to all ages. Participants must be able to walk comfortably up to a mile on uneven terrain and beach sand.
