Friends Giving, A Charity Fundraiser And Party At The Fairmont Hotel

SEE EVENT DETAILS
A Fundraiser and Party for Charities We Love

Friday November 25th, 2016 at The Fairmont San Francisco Hotel, Pavilion Room and Roof Garden

8pm-12am Open Bar and Dessert Reception

Healthcare. Poverty. Animal Welfare. These are the causes we have chosen to focus our efforts and combined support. This is the time for us all to think about others, join forces and give back.

We would like to invite you to our first ever charity fundraiser event. We have two very new nonprofits that are well on their way to making a difference with a little support from you. Catsbury Park Tea House & Cat Lounge and Give One Dollar A Day have recently launched this year. This event, amongst friends and community, is an introduction of these organizations to bring awareness and support to keep moving forward and providing help to these causes. We also include Mama G's, an organization operated by San Francisco's LGBTQ community that provides a warm, family style meal to the homeless in the Tenderloin during Thanksgiving.

Please join us for a very special evening. The event begins at eight pm. Please leave room for the french patisserie dessert reception, local cheeses, and vegetable chacuterie. We are hosting an open 'premium liquor' bar from eight to midnight. Make sure you arrive before we close the silent auction at ten pm. There will be plenty of desirable items to bid on; A weekend getaway at the SF St. Regis, in-home deep tissue massage, artwork by a local artist, personal training, natural bath and body products, and a private dinner party for up to six guests.

Throughout the night, you may feel the spirit to dance off your thanksgiving dinner to some of the best mixes you've ever heard by Dj Superinto.it. Let me also mention the fabulous roofgarden on top of The Fairmont adjacent to the Pavilion Room where we can extend the party and enjoy our cocktails.

Let's eat, drink and be charitable!!

Hosts: Jen Kash, DJ Bornschein, Julian Contreras, Brie Wilkes, Terri Rivers and John Showalter

Nonprofits:

Catsbury Park Tea House & Cat Lounge, Finding cats forever homes

http://www.catsburypark.com

Catsbury Park is a New Jersey 501(c) non-profit corporation with the goal of helping as many cats, young and old, find loving homes through various channels. In the summer of 2016, we were able to place 37 homeless kittens with forever homes within our first 2 months. We want to create a space where the public can learn about cats, interact with them, and potentially take them home. We hope to continue fostering kittens, although, Catsbury Park will focus on adult cats. We also provide a high-end tea service for those who come to spend time with our cats!

Founders DJ Bornschien and Jen Kash

Give One Dollar A Day, Kindness and support for children and families.

http://www.giveonedollaraday.org

Give One Dollar a Day is a 501(c)3 non profit organization in San Francisco dedicated to helping ease the financial burden for families and children affected by illness and poverty. We started Give One Dollar a Day after witnessing too many families at the hospital suffer, not just the unbearable pain of watching their child endure serious illness, but also struggle unnecessarily with additional, everyday life stressors. With Give One Dollar a Day we aim to fill critical needs of families and children that are otherwise overlooked by the current support systems. Together we will bring respite, joy, kindness, and support to children and families in need.

Founders Shauna Lay, Amy Siegel and Brie Wilkes
