**Brian Travis Band**
“The Brian Travis Band are, as the name suggests, undoubtedly the vehicle for the rootsy poetic musings of native California singer/songwriter Brian Travis. As the band leader, Brian guides his group in a 70's folk-rock direction rounding out a fresh original sound influenced in equal parts by 70's guitar groups such as The Kinks, Neil Young & Tom Petty to modern troubadours Ray LaMontagne, Ben Harper and Brett Dennen. Even though the band name implies strict creative control and a well defined creative vision, The BTB are a bonified "whole is greater than the sum of it's parts" rock 'n roll outfit that not only contribute to the overall group sound, but harken back to a time when bands performed high spirited live shows and consistently delivered heartfelt and sincere recorded material.” - KROQ.com
The BTB formed in 2002 and have been in a constant cycle of writing, recording and touring even since. The group has performed countless shows across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland where they opened for Love, Hope and Strength charity founder and Alarm front man, Mike Peters. Travis has also played gigs all across the US as both a solo artist and with his band. Currently touring in support of their latest release, The Coyote & The Crow (produced by Grammy winning engineer, George Landress) the group has relocated to the Bay Area to capitalize on recent radio spins of cuts from the new CD that have been in semi-regular rotation on radio stations in the region.
Brian Travis (lead vocals/acoustic guitar and harmonica), Matt Gretter (drums) Bob Fruhlinger (bass) and Evan Reiley (lead guitar) effortlessly mix classic rock with twangs of country & hints of the blues, giving traditional folk melodies a unique rock and roll vibe. With six albums of original content released, the band continues to wow crowds with their own brand of heartfelt rock n roll. “The BTB show is real,” says Travis. ” There is nothing staged, nothing scripted, hell, sometimes we don’t even have a setlist. Each show is like no other & you never know what’s going to happen.”
**PATRICK FORD BAND**
Patrick Ford Band It was 1969 when Patrick Ford first came onto the San Francisco blues scene with brother Robben Ford. During the 70's he spent time working with his brothers Robben and Mark in the Charles Ford Band and then on the road with Charlie Musselwhite. This was also when he first had the pleasure of working and hanging with many of the blues greats like Muddy Waters, Lightning Hopkins, and Jimmy Witherspoon. In the 80's Patrick started his own modern blues label, Blue Rock'lt Records, with great releases by the likes of Charlie Musselwhite, Brownie McGhee, the Charles Ford Band, and Chris Cain. It was 1988 when Patrick decided it was time to break away from the position of being a side man for others and try out his skills as a band leader. He decided to put together a band that would recognize and respect its individual members talents and at the same time become a conduit for his own ideas and arrangements. It was definitely going to be his band.
