Come learn to drum and sing at the same time! Amber will teach basic drum strokes (bass, hit, slap, pop, touch) and then a simple West African polyrhythm (3 different rhythm parts) and song. This workshop is for all levels, including absolute beginners. We will do some drum jamming and improv exercises and have a lot of fun and play. Learn to drum and sing at the same time and coordinate the right and left hemispheres of your brain. Please bring a djembe, doumbek, cajon, Arabic tambourine, Buffalo drum, or frame drum.
