Free Summer Beats Concert Series at Alameda South Shore Center

What: Alameda South Shore Center hosts the annual Summer Beats Concert Series, featuring notable bands in a festive outdoor atmosphere throughout the summer, a glitter tattoo artist, face painting, wine, beer, and more. The free outdoor concert series kicks off on Saturday, August 18th with Pride and Joy and will end on Saturday, September 1st with the Sun Kings, California's Premier Beatles Tribute band. All beverage proceeds will go to the Equipped 4 Success (E4S), a collaboration of the Alameda Education Foundation and several nonprofits who have teamed up to ensure that no student begins school without the school supplies they need to be ready to learn.
