Viva La Mexico! This free concert celebrates the intertwined cultures of Mexico and Spain through the secular and sacred organ music of the 17th century. Witness the majestic Rosales Opus #14 organ at Old Mission San Jose played by St. Joseph Music Director, Ronald McKean.
Pre-concert talk at 7:00PM will explain how the Rosales organ, one of only three in the US, authentically renders the music of this time and place in history. The 7:30PM concert will be a truly unique musical and visual experience as it takes place during the 225th anniversary of the Mission's founding in 1797. Reception to follow in the patio garden. A free will donation will go toward the Mission Restoration Fund.
Parking is available in the St. Joseph Church lot, directly adjacent to the Mission. You may access the concert through the cemetery gate, which is handicap accessible.
