From hawks to crawfish, SFBG is an oasis of nature in the center of San Francisco. Tours are 1 hour and 15 minutes, meeting from the Main Gate. Free with admission.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Admission is free for all San Francisco City & County Residents, but you must bring proof of residency- A California driver license or ID showing your SF address is best. A recent utility bill, lease, or other official documentation showing your SF address as well as a photo ID is acceptable too. Admission for non-residents is $9 for adults. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
SFBG is very accessible by public transit, served by the N-Judah streetcar, 44, 7 and 5 bus lines. Parking for cars and bicycles is conveniently located in the Music Concourse Garage.

What can I bring into the event?
Visitors are welcome to bring food and drink to enjoy at the Garden. Please use available trash bins. Dogs are not allowed in the Garden.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. We appreciate pre-registration but tickets are not required to attend this event.
