The Frank Bette Plein Air Paintout hosts 40 juried artists for a week. Artists will paint tree-lined streets, stately Victorian homes, quaint shops, picturesque marinas, historic naval ships, as well as beaches, lagoons, parks, and San Francisco and Oakland skylines from the island city of Alameda, CA
Exhibit & Sale
At the culmination of the week a sale is held at South Shore Center where the public is invited to purchase paintings created during the week. There are also painting demonstrations in various mediums as well as live music.
