Locals Forgotten Gods mix high-powered '70s classic metal with prog-rock and just a dash of doom and sludge metal. It's reminiscent of early Mastodon and Hire on Fire, and has a lot of ripping guitar solos and powerhouse drum lines. Their newest album, Fall of the Dagger, has a bit more of complex, prog-rock vibe, complete with the epic 14-minute long title track.
