The event - free and open to the public - features exhibitions, performances, artist and curator talks, and artmaking activities presented by FMCAC and its resident organizations, including SF Camerawork, Haines Gallery, FOR-SITE, Museo Italo Americano, and San Francisco Children's Art Center. The Art Walk will debut three new installations - Shiny Things for My Quartermaster: Seven Swallowtail Flags, 2023, by artist Cauleen Smith at Pier 2, and Sacred and Profane Geometries, two solo exhibitions by artists Ai Weiwei and Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian at Haines Gallery in Landmark Building C.
