Rock n' roll San Francisco-style comes to the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton for a weekend of shows in January: Saturday, January 13 at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday January 14 at 2:00 p.m. (Note: January 13 concert is sold out at this writing.) Formed out of a mutual love and respect for Fleetwood Mac's music and story, Fleetwood Mask hails from the San Francisco Bay Area. The band replicates one of rock's most successful bands, and each band member is equally passionate about performing the music of Fleetwood Mac with authenticity and style.
Not only that, Mick Fleetwood himself, founder of Fleetwood Mac, gives this band his personal endorsement "because of the passion and style of their live performances." Mick says he believes the music of Fleetwood Mac will live on through the authenticity of Fleetwood Mask's performances.
Hits on the Firehouse set-list include Rhiannon, Don't Stop, You Make Lovin Fun....and even a few early gems that harken back to the Mac's early days as a British Blues Band (who knew!).
The band: Don Oberempt, drums and percussion; Barbara Martin, keyboards and vocals; Paul Jones, bass guitars and vocals; Claudette Rodrigues, vocals and percussion; Mark Blasquez, guitars and vocals; Jason Moss, guitars.
