Join us for the First Annual Rotary Backpack Dash - a Back to School charity race providing school supplies for low income San Francisco students.
It’s back to school season and students in the San Francisco area need school supplies. This year the Rotary Club of San Francisco is changing that with the first annual Rotary Backpack Dash, a 10K, 5K and kids challenge run, taking place August 16th, 2015 in Golden Gate park across from the Conservatory of Flowers.
Event details and schedule
6:30 a.m - Check-in and race day registration opens
8:00 a.m. - Start 10K Run
8:20 a.m. - Start 5K Run
9:30 a.m. - Start Kids' Challenge
The Backpack dash is open to all!
Awards: Medals to top three male and female in each age division. 5K Run - 9 & Under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+. 10K Run - 18 & Under, 19-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.Kids' Challenge: Finisher ribbons.
