What could be more romantic than a night of Tango, Tapas and Wine? On Friday February 10th from 5 p.m. 7:30 p.m., romance and lovingly prepared food will fill the Ferry Building Marketplace. Providing a rare opportunity to experience the magic and beauty of the waterfront at night, the Ferry Building’s annual Food From the Heart event will kick off on Friday night, February 10th, in the romantic Grand Nave.
Merchants and restaurateurs at the Marketplace will offer chocolate tastings and seasonal hors d’oeuvres, and local Napa Valley Vintners will pour wine. The event is free for entry with nominal charges for food and wine samples. Marketplace shops will all be open from 5 to 7:30pm for Valentine shopping on Friday night. There will be tango dancing and classical music to serenade visitors. There will be delicious hors d’oeuvres for $2-6 each, and vintners will pour wine for $4 per taste.
