Is there a space for consent in improv? In an art form that prides itself on the principle of “yes, and,” how can you incorporate the word no? This workshop explores how to incorporate consent into the practice of improv to create faster, safer, and more energized improv comedy. We will explore how to have difficult conversations with your team members, how to communicate consent within the confines of scene work, and what consent actually means for improvisers.
