Being A Team Player with Ashley Bland
Tuition: Early bird: $55; Regular: $65 Please Note: ALL encouraged to participate Instructor: Ashley Bland (Chicago) Day/Date/Time: Sunday, April 28th, from 11:00am – 1:30pm Location: EXIT Theatre (Studio), 156 Eddy Street, San Francisco

Being a Team Player is a workshop designed to help you understand and play with your ensemble effectively. Knowing your team is an essential part of any improv format and when that is taken into account it helps you create memorable characters. We will use team building tactics to help you have fun knowing that you are fully supported. Goals:

Develop effective scene communication
Character confidence and commitment
Support your team
Have fun performing

Bio: Ashley hails from Chicago’s South Side where she was introduced to theater and dance at a young age. She moved on to received a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, is also a graduate of The Second City Conservatory program, and the iO Theater Diversity Scholarship program. She is a founding member of the all African-American women’s improv troupe EbonyEssenceJet, and teaches creative writing residencies in Chicago Public Schools. She hopes to make laugh.
