Faure Piano Quartett with Frederica von Stade

Celebrating its 27th anniversary, the Faure Piano Quartett** has established itself as one of the world's premier piano quartets, visionary in its approach and highly regarded for its experiments and insights into undiscovered repertoire. The ensemble has distinguished itself with groundbreaking recordings of music by Mozart, Brahms, Mahler, R. Strauss along with popular songs by Peter Gabriel and Steely Dan, and the first-ever recording in a rare transcription of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.
