Composer Kaija Saariaho is in residence on the Berkeley campus
this fall. In addition to master classes and private lessons with
student composers, she will participate in a series of five Bloch
Lectures featuring conversations with several of her distinguished
collaborators.* A Cal Performances/Eco Ensemble concert takes
place on Saturday, October 23 at 8pm in Hertz Hall.
