Poetry, music, and a writing workshop with The Last Hoisan Poets and special guests

Hear poetry by The Last Hoisan Poets and special guests Tongo Eisen-Martin (San Francisco Poet Laureate) and Tshaka Campbell (Santa Clara Poet Laureate), informed by works in the exhibition Faith Ringgold: American People. The performance features harp music by Destiny Muhammad. A drop-in writing workshop with the poets will follow. Learn more.

Echoes of practice: Bay Area artists on Faith Ringgold

Listen to a panel that brings together artists Angela Hennessy, Hannah Waiters, and Mattie Loyce to discuss the lasting impact of Ringgold's creative and community work, moderated by Devin Malone, director of public programs and community engagement at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
