NOLA's legendary purveyors of doom, EYEHATEGOD, are back with their latest album "A History of Nomadic Behavior".
Sometimes I think to myself, "Gee, there's a lot of great music out there, but no one really sings about what I'm really into: Sado-necro-homo-bestiality!" Luckily, I discovered New Orleans sludge metal band EYEHATEGOD and they really dig that stuff too. Added lyrical bonus: death, torture, self-abuse and general darkness, all set to super distorted monster riffage and blood-curdling screaming. Looks like someone's been reading my diary! These guys have been pounding away at some of the dirtiest, slowest, and most extreme metal tunes since 1988, and in that time, they've had plenty of opportunity to cover some particularly gruesome topics. Yay! - Stephen Layton
