Expressive Drawing: Mastering the Decisive Mark

This inspiring class explores the pursuit of an individual approach to expressive drawing through the use of a variety of materials. It supports students in developing a vision of their own while encountering and personalizing principles of drawing. Slide shows, discussions, as well as group and individual critiques accompany studio work. Charcoal, graphite, wet media and collage will each play a specific part in developing a relationship with subject matter, space and individual expression.
