Experimenting with Watercolor and Inks on Yupo Paper: FREE Hands-On Demo

July is World Watercolor Month and we are featuring a FREE hands-on demo of Yupo Synthetic Papers.
As a watercolor paper, Yupo has the advantage of being non-absorbent so colors lie on top of its surface producing brilliant, vibrant effects. Colors retain their true clarity and brilliance. Yupo requires no soaking, stretching, or taping flat.
In addition, Armando will demonstrate many of the various techniques and potential that the paper has to offer. He will highlight and have many inks and paints to try:
Dry and Wet Uses
Acrylic Pouring
Pinata Alcohol Ink Marbling
Bombay India Ink
Watercolor Paints
Yasutomo Gold and Silver Black Sumi inks
We will have free samples of Yupo paper you can take with you, as well as inks and paints that you will be able to try out for yourself.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This event is currently designed for adults 18+; please contact the organizer if you are interested in signing up a participant who is high-school aged and interested.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
ARCH Supplies has plenty of free parking in the front of the store! For public transportation, the Muni 22 and 55 bus lines run past the store (off 16th St.) with service from 16th St. BART.
