An exhibition of KIDS’ ART by students of Camille Zulpo ages 8 to 12 will open with a reception at 5:30 pm on Friday, June 1st at Bridge Storage and ArtSpace, 23 Maine Avenue, Richmond.
The show, which will be up through the month of June, features young local artists in third to sixth grade who are in the KIDS’ ART program taught by Camille Zulpo in Point Richmond.
On Saturday, June 16th, Zulpo will present a free art class for children aged 8-12 at Bridge (limited to eight children).
The show will represent a wide range of mixed media the children have been working on since September. Everything from clay, paintings, portraits, papier mache, and sculptures to “monster dolls” will be on display. The creative exploration of art and different disciplines inspires the children to use problem-solving skills and to develop their own unique style. They are excited to share their work.
Bridge Storage and ArtSpace is hosting Camille Zulpo’s annual KIDS’ ART Show, now in its 4th year. Camille Zulpo is a retired public and private schoolteacher has been providing the Kids Art program to children at her Point Richmond studio for more than nine years, emphasizing exploring different mediums and enjoying the creative process.
