From the silk wire to "parfum d’être".
What about this silk wire slipping through my fingers and travels its way onto this canvas that connects me to life!
Expression of being in search of itself, swirling and dancing beyond its own borders to finally take root in the middle of paper textures rich in history and covered with a light fiber.
Or thread of existence that track every day, scrolls, turns, turns around to relax and settle in a never regained momentum over time as ties that bind and unbind!

Sylvie A. Serex-Bonnet is born in Geneva (Switzerland) in 1954 and lives in Woodside (San Francisco Bay Area) and in Geneva.
She has a Master degree in Psycho Pedagogy from the University of Geneva with a specialization in Psychoanalysis for Children.
During several years she has been involved professionally as well as personally in helping children in difficulty.
She started to do painting as a self-taught person and then, took some classes at the "Beaux Arts of Geneva". These past few years have awoken in her a need to share her paintings.
"If no glance rests on personal creation, then the creation does not exist completely: it is the glance of another which makes it alive.”

Que penser de ce fil de soie qui glisse entre mes doigts et parcourt son chemin sur cette toile qui me relie a la vie !
Expression de l’être qui se cherche, tourbillonne et danse au-delà de ses propres frontières pour enfin s’ancrer au milieu de papiers aux textures riche d’histoire et recouverts d’une fibre lumineuse.
Ou encore fil de l’existence qui se trace jour après jour, défile, se tourne, se retourne pour s’assouplir et se fixer dans un élan à jamais retrouvé au fil du temps tel des liens qui se lient et se délient !

Sylvie A. Serex Bonnet est née en 1954 à Genève (Suisse) et vit depuis vingt ans entre San Francisco et Genève.
Elle possède un master en Psychopédagogie de l’Université de Genève, avec une spécialisation en psychanalyse d’enfants.
Durant plusieurs années, elle a travaillé à l’Hôpital des Enfants (Genève) en tant que consultante dans le service d’onco-hématologie pédiatrique.
Elle a commencé à peindre seule, puis à suivre des cours aux « Beaux Arts de Genève . Ces dernières années elle a eu le profond désir de partager de partager ses peintures.
