SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Gavilan College Theatre (see times)
Coming off the National Tour of ELF, Lexie Dorsett Sharp and Jesse Sharp will star as Eva and Juan Peron respectively in Gavilan College's production of EVITA. The newlywed husband and wife team met on the National Tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY and ended up playing opposite each other as Gomez and Morticia. They now bring their immense talents and experience to this production in Gilroy.
Jesse and director Dennis Beasley have been friends since attending graduate school at UC Irvine. After hearing that Beasley was looking to fill the lead roles and knowing that Eva Peron was one of his wife's dream roles, Mr. Sharp passed along the casting notice to Mrs. Sharp. The Los Angeles based actress promptly submitted an audition tape and was subsequently cast in the title role of the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice rock opera. Mr. Sharp signed on later when his schedule opened up. The pair sizzles as the Argentinian power couple and these performances are not to be missed.
