Two live bands from Europe, Sonamo' playing Italian Funk and Rue'66 playing French yéyé will be sharing the stage for the first time at the Boom Boom Room.
Get ready for an epic and definitely unique night!

Sonamo' - Italian Funk
An eclectic funk band with a dynamic, passionate blend of Italian melodic lines shot through with hefty doses of American funk and acid jazz, Sonamo’ makes a both danceable yet introspective, at once familiar yet exotic, intense yet energetic, romantic and yet somehow carefree. One of the strongest characteristics of Sonamó is their high energy that’s well expressed in their memorable live performances.
The San Francisco band, whose roots are spread all over the world, releases their first EP Album in August 2018. Spacing from the sensual mood of Maybe You know to the upbeat tempo of More, the EP Album Another Story merges unexpected undertones and essential beats into music that clearly expresses the eclectic nature of the band.

Rue '66 (SF/LA)
Rue '66 plays unique, obscure, and truly authentic French yéyé music. Drawing inspiration from Serge Gainsbourg, France Gall, Jacques Dutronc, Françoise Hardy, Gillian Hills, Michel Polnareff and groups like The Zombies, Pussycat, The Searchers, etc., Rue '66 is a nine-piece band sure to delight.

Antonino Musco is a DJ/producer, radio host, and jazz trained musician with an improvisational, audiovisual and soundtracks background.
As a solo artist or with his band Sicilian AV project, Antonino performed in some of the Old Continent most exclusive festivals and events, including the XIII Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean (BJCEM), Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival in Rome, IT; Praguebiennale3 in Prague, CZ; Crazycurators Biennale in Bratislava, SK.
Resident DJ in some historical venues in the Mission District of San Francisco; Antonino also hosts a weekly radio show (Espresso Sesh) on BFF.FM and the vinyl-only podcast Suona Bene.
