Eric Alexander Quartet with Harold Mabern

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Eric Alexander has become one of the premier saxophonists of his generation since competing in the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition in 1991. From his sideman days in grits'n'gravy Hammond organ groups on Chicago's South Side, to performing with his own groups, Alexander has furthered the modern jazz legacy pioneered by Charlie Parker. His quartet features veteran pianist (and former mentor) Harold Mabern, who has performed with many jazz legends of the past including trumpeter Lee Morgan.
