The San Francisco Elvis Presley Tribute Celebration (3nd annual) will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Presley’s return to live performing, when he held a four-week, 57 show engagement at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. We’ll also mark the anniversary of the King’s passing – Elvis died on August 16, 1977. This year he is now dead for as many years as he was alive – 42.
Held at the glamorous Make-Out Room, the party will be all Elvis all night, with the San Francisco Elvis All Stars live band comprised of Hank Maninger, Tim Wagar, and Timothy Orr. Our unique group of guest vocalists are: new wave & roots rocker Pearl Harbour, world famous drag king Elvis Herselvis (Leigh Crow), the Bay Area's country sweetheart Lynne Maes, and rock journalist Ben Fong-Torres.
Celebrate Presley’s return to Vegas concerts with a Vegas theme. Dress ready for the casino back in the sixties! Prize for best retro Vegas outfits. Elvis’s indelible image and famous clips chronicling his Vegas history will be projected on screen, DJs will play his unforgettable music, patrons can take pictures with the King in our photo area, and enjoy peanut butter and banana sandwich bites at the Elvis late night snack.
