What: Hotel Healdsburg, the acclaimed property located in the heart of Healdsburg, brings back its Winter Music Series, which takes place every Saturday evening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. through December. Held in the hotel’s Fireplace Lobby Lounge, the Winter Music Series features some of the region’s best players performing an eclectic mix of Jazz with diverse influences - Cuban, gypsy, blues, Brazilian, jazz standards and more.
On Saturday, November 19, enjoy one of the West Coast’s fastest rising jazz vocalists, Tiffany Austin, who combines an ever-growing command of the jazz tradition with a deep love for old-school and contemporary soul. Her 2015 debut album, "Nothing But Soul," earned rave reviews for her bold recasting of Hoagy Carmichael standards. She then triumphed in New York when alto sax legend John Handy featured her at the three-night celebration of his career-making 1965 Monterey Jazz Festival performance. A graduate of UC Berkeley’s Boalt School of Law, Austin decided to forgo a career as a lawyer to focus on music, her true passion, and she’s been raising the bar ever since.
