With every song she writes, Elizabeth carries within her the heart-full wisdom of an old soul. She hears the world in jazz and pop sounds, and sees it in vibrantly colored words, which are melodically original and lyrically honest. Having studied classical voice at the Colburn School in Los Angeles, and vocal jazz at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam, Elizabeth fuses the realms of classical and jazz singing with pop/jazz blended lyrics, and hints of folk, blues, and funk. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Elizabeth spent her childhood surrounded with old school jazz and show tunes. As an undergraduate, she received the UC Berkeley Music Theater Award for her original musical Dreams of 18, which she wrote while studying at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. Elizabeth has recently moved back to LA from the Bay Area, and is working on her first EP!
