Eko Zu
Guaranteed to break the norm from any musical act on the map, EKO ZU captivates audiences time after time. Composed of the trio Zu’ri, Zh3n, and Z from the flip-dimensional Eko Isle (near the Mariana Archapelago), their Hybrid Electronic group is unlike any other. Part animal, part human, these crossover creatures incorporate a wild harmony to provide fans with something fresh and innovative. Through the harmonious guitar strums from Zh3n, to the raw melodic sounds ofZu’ri’s voice, mixed with frequency-shaping skills of Z, the trio captures everything from jungle sounds to mystic lullabies of the Pacific.
The Elevaters
Rooted in California, The Elevaters blend live funk, rock, hip-hop and soul into an intoxicating sound that has moved and excited audiences from coast to coast. The group has played alongside hip-hop and pop luminaries Bruno Mars, Janelle Monae, De La Soul, KRS-One, and Aloe Blacc. Their first two albums have received both critical and underground acclaim, and fans have taken to sharing bootleg recordings or their live shows which are chock full of humor, levity, social commentary, and grooves deep enough to drive a truck through ‘em. 2019 sees the Elevaters returning to both studio and stage with a spring tour and LP of unreleased live and studio tracks.
Quench
The funk-driven rhythms of Quench emerged when band members Phil Remer (guitar), Andy Levine (bass), Alex Goff (drums), and Jonathan Lancaster (sax, keys) reunited in 2015 in San Francisco. Inspiration from new school players like Lettuce, Orgone and Galactic under the influence of pioneering legends like The JBs, The Meters, Chaka Khan and Sharon Jones creates Quench's mosaic of solid sound. In late 2015 they were joined by vocalist Lauren Gould, and shortly afterwards by her vocalist soul sister Rachel Howard. Take a dip in the pool of timeless funk. Drink in the gritty, fluid compositions. Get your harmony restored...
