Big Fun:
EJECA
Ejeca may be based on the outskirts of the nu-house music mecca of Belfast, however his musical roots have been firmly planted from an early age being brought up on 90s garage house.
Since his fascination with production as a teenager, hisoutput has always been diverse — experimenting with many genres like disco, garage, deep house and techno, his trademark vocal driven emotive sound flows in all of his productions. His early release on Tusk and his classic collaboration on AUS with fellow countrymen Bicep were centered on a disco/house fusion, but more recently he’s explored deeper house and techno styles with his off-kilter Frequency EP on Sasha's Last Night On Earth imprint.
It took 12 long years of hard work, and a few ‘Essential Tune of the Week’ nods from Pete Tong, but Ejeca is finally firmly established as a reputable purveyor of high quality house and techno. 2014 should only see his profile climb with the unveiling of his brand new label Exploris, his worldwide DJ tour schedule and the continued support from luminaries as diverse as Erol Alkan to Jackmaster to Sasha. The right heads are taking notice, it's time you did too.
$5 Before 11pm with RSVP / $10 after / $8 Tickets good all night
