From a childhood spent raised on a farm in Snohomish WA;
Edmund Wayne emerges to share personal melodies, telling his
tales of life after just 26 years.
Hailing from the Palouse based band: Buffalo Death Beam,
Edmund Wayne is a solo project created by Curt Krause.
Using the names of his Grandfathers, he moves forward finding
comfort and familiarity in the relics of his past & the uncharted
future. Edmund Wayne has pushed his sound and lyricism to a
greater level of noted individuality. Integrating hooks and folk
roots with matters of the heart, human nature and the simple,
pure celebration of life.
Hitting the open road in his VW Van, Edmund Wayne not only
making loyal fans along the way; but honest and lasting
relationships. A credit to his character, he will leave you not
only craving a second soulful tune; but also another round of
brew & easy conversation with Edmund himself.
Southern California native, current resident of the Bay Area, former Seattleite, one-time Torontonian, and long-time tour bus resident. Josiah Johnson's immersion in the musical culture of so many locales, as well as his dedication to constant touring, have given him the means to share his music far and wide, but the strength of his songwriting has carried his music far beyond his physical reach. Best known as a member of American indie-folk powerhouse The Head and The Heart, Josiah's solo performances highlight a stripped down, emotive, lyrics-first kind of song-craft, inimitable in its sincerity and beauty.
