Eats, Beats, and Brews - Salsa Sundays is BACK!
Every third Sunday of June through October will feature a LIVE salsa band on Center Street in Downtown Berkeley. The street will be closed to cars and open for everyone to dance in the summer heat.
All of Center Street's restaurants will be cooking up delicious food, and Drake's Brewing will be pouring some of their great brews. PLUS Games of Berkeley is bringing back their Locally Grown Game Sundays where they have a Game Pavilion set up where local game designers will have their games available to play. You can meet the creator of the game, then challenge your friends and family to a round!
This week's band is Fito Reinoso y su Ritmo y Armonia and the will be heating up the summer with timba beats influenced by classic and contemporary Cuban rhythms. And don't worry if you don't know how to salsa dance because Ruth Caspary of Latin Connection Dance is going to kick the event off with a FREE salsa dancing lesson!
