Join DZINE Gallery for the opening night reception for its latest exhibition, Cracking Nutshells, on Friday, May 4 from 6 - 9 pm at 128 Utah Street in San Francisco. The event is free and open to the public
Featuring the work of more than 30 San Francisco artists with a number of commissioned pieces created exclusively for the exhibition, Cracking Nutshells is the seventh show hosted by DZINE Gallery as part of its ongoing series of gallery events in support of local artists.
Combined with this group exhibition is the solo exhibition, Mimi Herbert: My Country. Created by acclaimed artist Mimi Herbert, this new series of silk-screened flag sculptures comments on protest and patriotism and has been designed specifically for this exhibition.
The opening night reception will be a full multimedia celebration of San Francisco artists with various musical and dance performances throughout the evening by SF’s award-winning Opera Parallele, as well as pop-up dance performances by RAWdance, project agora, and Shared Space.
