My name is Scott Allen and I'm originally from Seattle, WA. USA. I currently reside in Los Angeles, CA, where I've been deejaying for over ten years. While coming up as a Deejay, I was heavily involved in the U.S. breakbeat scene. I got started in 1994 when I teamed up with my deejay partner, Tim Andren, and together we formed the group called Neosoul. We toured for many years and played a countless number of gigs entertaining the crowds with our 2 x 4 performance (2 deejays and 4 turntables).
I always loved Drum & Bass, but over the years, I've come to appreciate it as my favorite genre to produce, deejay, and collect. I've been blessed to be able to write music and release music on many different labels. You can find my releases on Soul Deep Recordings, Fokuz Recordings, Good Looking Records, Celsius Recordings, Expressions, Phuzion Digital, Intelligent Recordings, Have-a-Break, Stepping Forward, Liquid Brilliants, Deeper Vision, and Textures Music Group.
In January 2011 I launched my first record label called Soul Deep Recordings and have managed to create an amazing roster of artists to release on the label, including: Dramatic & dbAudio, Furney, Paul SG, Blade, Malaky, Arp-1, Paul T, mSdoS, Pulsaar, Sevin, Random Movement, Macca, Flowrian, Rowpieces, Skeletone, Silence Groove, Actraiser, Lurch, Jrumhand, Phat Playaz, Duoscience, Stunna, MJT, Submatic, Dynamic, Carter, Spective, Subsid, L-Side, Broken Drum, Phase 2, Kasper, Payback, Qumulus, Flame, Philth, Marso & Gala, Lm1, Soulculture, Tidal, Andrezz, Deeper Connection, Scott Allen, and many more…
Soul Deep takes pride in searching out well known producers, as well as more obscure and up and coming artists to help put out the best D&B music possible. The label has carved a niche for itself in the growing world of Liquid Drum & Bass.
In 2012, I started a new project called, Soul Rebel Recordings. The label is co-owned by Marco Grijsen (Fokuz, Celsius, Influenza) and focuses on the Reggae/Dub/Jungle sound fused with Drum & Bass.

The Cenobites have released over 20 tunes on 15 different record labels including Flex Industries , Sound Sphere, Future Sickness, Ammunition, Zardonic Recordings, Digital 6, Koldfront, Mindocracy, and Multikill.... The Cenobites show no sign of slowing down, working with artists like, Jae Kennedy, Pish Posh, Sage, 6blocc, Freqax, Space Journey, Glitch, Night Breed and Knoxz. Expect loads of sick tunes crossing all styles of drum and bass, Very technical dj sets, Double drops, Clean mixes with loads of unreleased and original tunes.

Beastie Boys - Ill Communcation. That’s where it started. That’s where Dave Simon really” heard” music for the first time. The world was split open and all this music started pouring in – The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, and other big beat artists. The harder big beat sound spilled into a love for punk, and then punk to ska. Followed by the jam bands: Phish and Moe and the NEW DEAL. He started seeing the same tribe of people show up for these gigs over and over and realized he was part of a strong community that rallied around music. Music began to have a bigger purpose in the context of community, something that was way beyond commercial music experiences.
Cut to San Francisco: the underground EDM scene and Burning Man. These tribes gave Dave a place and support to expand, not just with music but out there, in the world. He stepped out from behind-the-scenes event production to stepping behind the decks DJing, making his first appearance at Vessel – an all-night dance event that took place on an aircraft carrier

Sobeeze started his journey into DnB back in 1997 when he and his homie Kaifeng decided to throw an underground estate party. Ever since then, the town of Altadena has never been the same. The sounds of Dom and Roland blasted through the windows, awakening Sobeeze's conscience, telling him to enter into the DJ scene without fear. This SoCal mixologist, representing Los Angeles, moved to Oakland in 2008 with the intent of continuing to make the masses move to some heavy and funky beats. His unique selection of liquid, jump-up, neuro, darkstep, funk, and hip-hop always keeps the crowd guessing and grooving on the dance floor.

hitters like Bass Attack and DNBS, to super clubs like Walker Hill and Club Vera. Never one to get complacent, he founded and ran the monthly Mixtape while juggling his various residencies and crew obligations all over the city. Since leaving Korea, he’s played all over the world, from radio shows and raves in
Germany to East and West Coast gigs in the US. Now based in Oakland, he’s joined the Dystopia 510 family and is spinning with the likes of Shelter and Foundation, using his myriad skills to contribute to the Bay Area underground.

Scotticus Finch has spent the last five years honing his craft, from his beginnings in the Seoul underground, playing with heavy
hitters like Bass Attack and DNBS, to super clubs like Walker Hill and Club Vera. Never one to get complacent, he founded and ran the monthly Mixtape while juggling his various residencies and crew obligations all over the city. Since leaving Korea, he’s played all over the world, from radio shows and raves in
Germany to East and West Coast gigs in the US. Now based in Oakland, he’s joined the Dystopia 510 family and is spinning with the likes of Shelter and Foundation, using his myriad skills to contribute to the Bay Area underground.
