The Dystopia Star Chamber is pleased to announce that our DnB monthly will continue to promote awesome producers, great DJ's and more every fourth Friday of the month at Lounge 3411 in Oakland, California. To honor the New Year 2017, we have a very extraordinary show for all of you Drum & Bass aficionados…
So with that said, let us take back our freedom to celebrate LIFE & THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS and make Oakland’s premiere Drum and Bass monthly COLOSSAL for the NEW YEAR!

Anthony Kasper, more commonly known by just his surname, is a Minneapolis based producer and DJ specializing in Drum + Bass music. At only 25 years old, he may be one of the younger faces in the scene, but he’s not short on experience. 2016 marked his first European tour covering stops in 5 different countries including the Czech Republic for the world renowned Let It Roll festival and London for Bailey’s exclusive Soul In Motion night.
In 2015, Kasper signed with Fokuz Recordings as his preferred outlet for releasing his music. His back catalog boasts over 50 tracks on over 28 EPs and 8 vinyl releases. His collaboration with Satl entitled Mr. Funky hit the number 2 spot on the Beatport Drum + Bass charts for over 3 weeks. Just a few short weeks later; he followed it up with another Beatport top ten charting track “Suggestions.”
Kasper’s production style combines his hip-hop and jazz based background with clean, high-energy basslines that stimulate the dance floor and satisfy the casual listener. His music is regularly supported by mainstays in the music community like DJ Marky, Giles Peterson, Bryan G, Etherwood, and Random Movement. You can find him hosting the Fokuz Recordings podcast every month with special guest mixes showcasing the best in soulful drum + bass.

Tommy Lexxus is a true Drum & Bass and Dubstep veteran with over two decades on the decks. Head honcho of Bassism Records, originally established in San Francisco, Tommy has a bevy of releases under multiple aliases on Sub Life, Forecast, and Hotflush. Cutting his teeth in San Diego and Los Angeles, The Lexxus was inspired by artists such as R.A.W. and Danny The Wild Child, who brought Turntablism into the Jungle mixing space. In the fifteen years Mr. Lexxus spent in the Bay Area, he performed at some of the most revered parties in San Francisco, including Eklektic, Compression, Phuturo, Silent, FSound, Shelter, Stamina, and BADNB. Now, finally for Dystopia!
After eight steady tours to Europe and abroad, Tommy decided to move the Bassism camp to Berlin. Three years in, he is now resident for Void Club, a celebrated Drum & Bass haven. The Bassism don supports some of the biggest acts to grace its’ stages, most recently Gridlok, Doc Scott, and Aphrodite. Tommy Lexxus will be performing an exclusive Ragga Jungle set for Dystopia, so get your dancing shoes ready! ;)
