We'll be pausing Abbas Kiarostami's existential drama, Taste of Cherry, to draw striking frames together. The focus is on practice and enjoyment, not on creating a "perfect" finished product.
Basic materials (pencils, paper, erasers) will be provided. You may bring your own materials, but please no fume-creating paint or paint pens. Watercolor, ink and gouache are fine.
This is a self-led event; there will be no instruction or feedback. However, there will be an opportunity at the end of the session to look at others' drawings and show your own. All levels and styles welcome.
Due to pauses for drawing, the full film will not be shown.
NR, 99 mins., 1997. Subtitles and Closed Captions (CC) in English.
The event takes place in the Latino/Hispanic Room on the Lower Level.
