The Carl Cherry Center for the Arts presents a lecture with Dr. Susan G. Shillinglaw entitled "Joseph Campbell, Ed Ricketts & Friends on the Monterey Peninsula." In conjunction with the Center's current exhibition, Joseph Campbell: The Artist's Way, this presentation will focus on Joseph Campbell's experiences on the Monterey Peninsula and how they have shaped his life and works. Dr. Susan G. Shillinglaw is a published author, professor of English at San Jose State University, and Scholar in Residence at the National Steinbeck Center in Salinas.
