On February 8th, UC Berkeley's Museum of Vertebrate Zoology (MVZ) is hosting a public event of interest to all professional or budding natural historians and snake lovers! Dr. Harry Greene, a world-renowned snake expert, biologist and author will be giving a public talk entitled "Snakes and primates, an 80 million year-long dialog - with digressions about late 20th century MVZ", beginning at 4 pm in the Valley Life Sciences Building (VLSB 2040). Prior to the talk, at 3 pm, the MVZ will be offering tours of the museum and its collections, as well as light refreshments and an opportunity to mingle with local scientists (all located in VLSB 3101). The MVZ is primarily a research museum and not regularly open to the public, so this opportunity is not to be missed!
