Doug Barrett & the Deal Breakers is a SF peninsula-based blues/rock power trio comprised of 5 long-time friends who've played together in various incarnations since high school. Their kinship is evident in the way their music grooves and gels together. Their repertoire ranges from classic Delta & Chicago blues standards (SRV, the 3 Kings, Taj Mahal) to blues-based, classic-rock gems (ZZ-top, Allman Bros., Hendrix, Cream). Doug Barrett serves up the blazing yet tasty guitar solos on guitar. Justin Wooster keeps things gritty & soulful, pulling double-duty on drums and lead vocals. And Paul Sassenberg holds the bottom end down, deep in the pocket on bass.
Shiner is a Bay Area modern blues-rock power-trio. The band consists of two thirds of the hard rock trio Heavy Crown (Rich Carr on bass and Mike Steczo on drums and vocals) and carries over much of the material on their 2017 release of the "Wrong Side Of Never" album. They are now anchored by the raunchy and gritty guitar stylings of renowned Bay Area guitarist Mike Davis who was a long time member of the San Francisco based rock act Naysayers. The addition of Mr. Davis adds new layers to this blues-rocking trio with harmonized vocals and soulful slide guitar work. Shiner delivers a tight grooving rock experience the audience can move and shake to.
