As one half of the SF/Oakland DJ crew Rock-It! Scientists, DJ Solarz brings a lot of fun and plenty of dancing (and music with a particular bent towards EDM.) In their early days they were all about mashups. Now it's all about remixes. They take a lot of well-known hip-hop, R&B and pop tracks and make them even more infectious. Take their version of "Party Rock Anthem"- who knew it was possible to make that song into more of a guilty pleasure booty-shaker? They also spin non-remixed hits, forgotten old school tunes and whatever they feel like playing. They never forget to make it a good time. (Aaron Carnes)
