DJ Lady Ryan

Ever expanding, DJ Lady Ryan’s story is one of renewal. Lady Ryan became enthralled by music at a young age when a dual cassette tape of MJ's "Thriller" and Janet's "Control" albums were gifted to her by her father. She began singing in the choir at church and in school from the ages 7 to 16. She competed city and statewide and it became obvious to all who met her that was born for the stage. Thanks to the guidance of her mentors, Lady Ryan rediscovered her joy in music some years later and stepped into the club scene at the right time and place. Upon her arrival, Lady Ryan connects instantaneously to her audience. Her music rides the crowd's nostalgia effortlessly weaving old songs with the new. Due to her charm and immeasurable talent, she has easily become a Bay Area favorite, DJing and singing at major LGBT events like SF and Oakland Pride since ’07 and many clubs in both cities. Currently, she holds residence at the Lucky Lounge, Oasis, Disco Volante and the RockSteady in Oakland. In San Francisco, she holds residence at the El Rio, the Cafe and the Skylark. Lady Ryan is unique in that she is known for her eclectic taste in tunes and spellbinding voice. From Jazz to House, the flux of distinctive sounds she so graceful sets beside one another make for a brilliant movement within the crowd. Lady Ryan is determined to ignite a fire within the industry and continue to carve her name into its history.
