Join Hotel Nia and Craft Brewer Jason Beck from Comrades Brewing for a casual brewing party. Attendees will learn all the necessary steps to brewing your own beer.
Comrades Brewing will start the session with an in-depth beer tasting. There will be a wide variety of beers so attendees get an idea of the kinds of beers they can brew. We will taste the different barley grains, and smell the many hops, to get an idea of how the raw materials lead to the finished beer.
We will make 3 different 5-gallon batches of beer. Attendees will choose the recipes and help tweak the desired flavor. Comrades Brewing has a wide range of ingredients, so there will be a lot of styles of beer to choose from.
We will provide everything you need to brew. Two weeks later your beer will be ready for pick up at Hotel Nia.
