Let's Celebrate District 10! In partnership with SCRAP, please join us in a creative reuse project with Chula Productions! Create your own lanyard from rescued plastic pony beads, metal charms, split rings, spring snaps and twine that were all sourced from SCRAP.
SCRAP is a non-profit creative reuse center located in San Francisco's Bayview District. We accept donations of materials that would otherwise go to the landfill, and offer them to educators, artists, crafters and the public in general at low-cost. Our mission is to inspire creativity and environmental stewardship in children and adults through the creative reuse of materials that traditionally have been discarded as waste, as we aim to be true partners with the city of San Francisco in accomplishing its zero-waste goal.
Chula Camp is a self-taught jewelry designer and work in traditional and uncommon materials. Every collection is designed and hand made by me one at a time. I work in a tiny art studio located in the historic Dogpatch District near the central waterfront in San Francisco, California.
District Highlight:
As the City's Museums, we compromise ourselves to celebrate the city we love. Every month Free Saturdays will highlight on of San Francisco's 11 Supervisory Districts district by partnering with a local organization that is positively contributing to our community, and together bring in meaningful and unique experiences for all visitors.
