Unsurprisingly, DirtyBeats and Filthgrinder love the same thing: filthy, nasty bass. But their approach is different: DirtBeats is the kind of producer that's not completely bent on maximalism. He gives his songs room to build and breathe, like his dubstep remix of PegBoard Nerds' "Hero," which is definitely worth a listen. It even has bagpipes. Filthgrinder comes from a heavy metal background, and is definitely out to melt faces with his dubstep, so it'll be interesting to see what happens when they play together. I'm assuming it'll be mostly a dubstep set, but both producers work in other genres as well. Marcade headlines. (Stephen Layton)
