Alternative R&B singer, songwriter, and producer Dijon Duenas is known as one-half of Abhi//Dijon with Abhi Raju. As a solo artist, he has continued to develop the understated and affecting R&B of his duo work, a style that helped draw plenty of buzz for his 2020 EP How Do You Feel About Getting Married? More critical attention followed with his 2021 full-length Absolutely. Duenas and Raju unexpectedly made underground waves starting in 2014 as college students in Maryland. Following graduation, the two musicians relocated to Los Angeles, steadily added to their discography, and appeared on Nao's Top 20 U.K. album For All We Know. The Baltimore-raised Dijon is coming off a successful 2019 in which he landed on the cover of BRICK Magazine, released his visceral debut EP Sci Fi 1, and brought his captivating live show to the world for the first time. Noisey included the EP in their Best Albums of 2019 list, which they described as "bruised, beautiful ballads." Now he's set to embark on his second-ever headlining tour after joining budding star Omar Apollo on his North American run this Fall, and precedes his tour run with Vampire Weekend in May.
