Digital Wandering: Haight Street

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Mason and Ashbury Street (see times)
What is Digital Wandering?

Do want to master your camera on your phone? Want that better selfie? Are you obsessed with taking photos?

Digital Wandering is an event where learning-meets-social. Each event we travel to awesome photogenic spots around the Bay Area and learn aspects of digital photography. At one event we may be learning about flower photography in Golden Gate Park, while at the next event we may be snapping candid urban pictures in the Mission. You'll learn from professional photographers and from people who have experience teaching at colleges and universities around the Bay Area. This will be a fun way to be social and become a better photographer.

September 15th 2pm-5pm: Haight Ashbury

The historic Ashbury district of San Francisco has long been a symbol of counter-culture in the United States. From the Grateful Dead to Janis Joplin to Jefferson Airplane many musicians and radicals have called this street home since the 1960s. Haight Street still remains a vibrant area for art, music and counter-culture. It's the perfect place to snap interesting candid street photography and get that photo that is just a little bit bizarre.

Participants will meet at the corner of Haight and Asbury in front of the store 'Love on Haight'.
