A ritual of connection, preparation of celebration with Deya Dova—we begin within, cultivating our own deep presence. We consciously breathe with our neighbor, the air we share. We move with our community; the beats our bodies require. With the love that hold us together, we honor All One.
Barbara has spent the largest part of her life studying, cultivating and deepening, through many forms and cultures, presence through the body. She is a movement minister who creates a bridge to span our perceptions of separation. Her passion lies in motivating and teaching the creation of the journey of transformation through embodied collaboration.
ABOUT THE EVENT DESIGNERS
This evening is co-designed by Donna Carroll, producer of Ecstatic Dance Oakland and Ecstatic Dance Leadership. Donna brings over a decade of experience creating profoundly impactful intentional events for conscious communities. Co-producer ALIA is a renowned electronic music artist and resident DJ of Ecstatic Dance Oakland known for the stage shows and events she has produced for her project, Feminine Medicine.

Dress in comfortable clothing you can move in that makes you feel beautiful!
The dance floor will be without chairs—you may want to take off your shoes and sit on the floor at some point.
Bring a water bottle and snacks. There will be no food or drinks available in the ballroom. Please leave all valuables at home.
Sweet's Ballroom is located right at the 19th street Bart station. Limited street parking is available, as are various parking lots close to the ballroom. Do not leave anything visible or valuable in your vehicle.
