Continuing Design Week's Summer of Love theme we look at what it means to be in a relationship with a creative. Whether you are a creative looking to be understood by your non creative significant other or the other way around this panel discussion is ideal for you.
On our panel we have 3 different couples to give a range of perspectives with one person in each being a designer:
A straight couple from different religions.
A lesbian couple from different nationalities.
A couple where either or both individuals are transgender.
Topics for discussion include:
Do they really 'get' me: explaining the creative mind
Creative work vs salary: talking about a career in design
Lateral vs linear thinking: do opposites attract?
Navigating differences other than creativity
Accepting the differences in order to have a thriving relationship and career.
